This is a walk for all audiences, exploring the best kept secret of the eastern Asturias.
It was declared BIOSFHERE RESERVE by UNESCO in 2018. Ponga has something different. Its inaccessibility and its proximity to the Picos de Europa National Park has made Ponga a virgin area.
We will hike into one of the best conserved forest of Spain, walking easily among beech trees, oaks, hollys… with breath-taking views of peaks such as Tiatordos, Maciédome o Recuencu.
Special recommendation: Having lunch after hiking in any villages of the council such as Beleño or Sobrefoz. Local gastronomy (tasty and generous portions). Fully enjoying of this remarkable place.
