Our horse trails in Asturias offer a unique way to discover the spectacular landscapes of Ribadesella and the Sella Valley. Whether you are looking for a relaxing horseback ride or a longer adventure, our experienced local guides will take you through forests, rivers, traditional villages and breathtaking viewpoints in a safe and enjoyable experience suitable for all levels.
These horse trails are available in different durations, allowing you to choose the perfect route according to your experience and the time available. Riding through the Asturian countryside is one of the best ways to enjoy nature while discovering places that are inaccessible by car.
The walks take place along a rural path along the banks of the Sella River and its wetlands, a well-known reserve for migratory birds. You can also discover more natural areas in our Picos de Europa section.
On the 1-hour route, you pass through the village of El Alisal, located on the western bank of the river, and finally you climb a hill to cross a small forest of chestnut and oak trees.
On the 2-hour route, you ascend to Mount Xuncu to enjoy spectacular views of the Sella River and its rivermouth into the Cantabrian Sea.
On the 3-hour route, you pass through the village of Cuevas del Agua and crown Mount Moru, crossing a mountain path from where you can enjoy the meanders of the Sella River and magnificent views of the Picos de Europa.

We also organize horse trails lasting several days on request, depending on your riding experience, preferences and availability. This option is ideal for riders who want to explore more of Asturias at a relaxed pace while enjoying unforgettable landscapes and authentic rural experiences.
